Since coming under new ownership in May 2007, The Swan at Tytherington retains its reputation as a well-known and popular 16th century village pub but is now becoming renowned for excellent cuisine and fine cask ales. Its classic oak beams and inglenook fireplaces create the typical country pub setting with cosy log fires in the winter and a spacious enclosed beer garden for those balmy summer days and evenings. Skittles teams play in the Alley most nights throughout the year with the popular Swan Summer League attracting fierce competition during the summer months and the more traditional bar games of darts and cards played in the cute little public bar.
