Community Learning is part of South Gloucestershire Council and funded by the Skills Funding Agency. We offer a range of free part-time courses in community venues to help residents gain qualifications, improve job skills, help their children’s learning and become more involved in the local community.

The role of the senior centre is to take musicians from across South Gloucestershire to the next level with their music making. They will be rehearsing and performing at a high level and expanding their musical experiences with other dedicated performers and expert professional musicians. Wind, Jazz and Youth orchestras are the backbone of the senior centre with additional opportunities for chamber groups.
We are a small village school serving the community of Cromhall and the surrounding area. Providing a happy, caring environment for your child to learn in is our priority. NEW: TAJMC (Thornbury Area Junior Music Centre) Children age 4-7 from Thornbury and the wider area are encouraged to come along. Saturday mornings at Marlwood School. No musical experience necessary. These classes are an introduction to music through a variety of learning activities including singing, playing and exploring percussion instruments - an exciting, all-round musical experience.
TAMC (Thornbury Area Music Centre) Children aged 8-18 from Thornbury and the wider area who play a string, brass, wind or percussion instrument are welcome at our friendly music centre. We meet on Saturday mornings at Marlwood School and offer orchestral provision, string and wind band ensembles, music theory, musicianship and singing.
SCYO (South Cotswold Youth Orchestra) This Orchestra is of interest to more advanced young musicians who have reached a minimum of Grade 5 standard on an orchestral instrument.

We are a friendly rural pre-school accepting children from 2 years old and welcome children from all around the Thornbury area.
We are registered with Ofsted and a member of both the Pre-School Learning Alliance and Children's Playlink. We offer spacious indoor and outdoor learning environments as well as regular farm and park visits.

The Wellbeing College is a partnership delivered across South Gloucestershire with the aim of making people happy and healthy through education.
