Sport and Leisure
The key to a healthy, balanced active lifestyle is to find activities you enjoy which incorporate a variety of exercises. Active Centres offer a wide range of programmes to keep you motivated and help get the results you want.
Our fitness classes are motivational and social; our gyms are full of exercise experts with leading industry equipment; and our pools run a variety of swimming sessions to suit the novice swimmer through to advanced.
If you are new to exercise and would like to talk to someone, why not telephone us or pop in for a relaxed chat?

We arrange walks each weekend as well as midweek evenings in the summer. The area and length of the walk varies greatly and members also arrange occasional weekends away.
We have regular social events such as skittles evenings, quiz nights, barbecues and the like, and there is always a Christmas dinner.
However, we are more than just a walking club. The Ramblers is a registered charity and one of its aims is to campaign to keep the footpath network open.
Sessions held at a club or leisure centre convenient to you.
