A social group for people living in and near Tytherington. It has been running for 25 years. People who want to join pay £5 to become members of the mixer group. Groups of members volunteer to organise an event for everyone else. We have one event a month and you can pick and choose which ones you attend. Costs of events are split between those attending. Events invariably involve eating and drinking! New members are welcome to join at any point. Contact Sian on 07968 122551.
For information on hiring Tytherington Village Hall, please call Richard Williams on 415523.

We need football players for Cromhall Football Club, aged between 16 and 55. Training is on Mondays at Brimsham Sports Centre, Yate from 9 till 10pm. We play friendly games on Sunday mornings through the season. If you're interested, come along or ring Mike on 01454 299385.
Organises cycle rides every Sunday all year round, on quiet country lanes in the countryside around Bristol.
We meet in Thornbury's Armstrong Hall complex on the 4th Wednesday of each month except August and December.
We try to cater for all levels of quilters from beginners to the more experienced.
For more information contact Lorraine Shergold 01454 417559 or by email below.
We arrange walks each weekend as well as midweek evenings in the summer. The area and length of the walk varies greatly and members also arrange occasional weekends away.
We have regular social events such as skittles evenings, quiz nights, barbecues and the like, and there is always a Christmas dinner.
However, we are more than just a walking club. The Ramblers is a registered charity and one of its aims is to campaign to keep the footpath network open.
Please visit our website below for details of our walks.
We meet for demonstrations and practice classes at Thornbury Methodist Church Hall, at 7.30pm on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month. New members and visitors are always welcome at either the demonstration or practice nights. We are affiliated to NAFAS. For more information contact the Secretary Mrs Margaret Gover on 01454 261810.
